Hiralal Mohan Devi Rita Gupta Institute of Technology and Management or HMRIT was conceived in the year 2002 with an aim of providing Engineering, Technology and Management students with exceptional facilities. HMRITM has been one of the reputed institutes since its early days. HMRITM is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). HMR Institute of Technology and Management is situated in Delhi.

The institute got its name from its founders - Late Sh. Hiralal, Late Smt. Mohan Devi and Late Smt. Rita Gupta. The excellent academic structure of HMRITM is equally well complimented by its industry exposure programme which imparts the much-needed skill sets to the students to thrive in a dynamic technology-driven environment. The location of the institute is also a matter of great importance as several industries and corporate houses have their base in Delhi. The vision and mission of HMR Institute of Technology and Management are to provide education of the highest quality in fields of Engineering, Technology and Management and become trendsetters globally. HMRITM offers two degrees namely B.Tech and MBA. A total of 16 programmes are offered at HMR Institute of Technology and Management under these two degrees. For admission into the Engineering programmes, HMRITM accepts JEE Main scores. 

The Placement Cell of HMRITM is renowned for its commitment towards providing the best job opportunities to its students after the completion of their study. The students, most of the times, are able to land upon their so-called “Dream Jobs”. 

The HMR Institute of Technology and Management Delhi campus is spread across an area of 5 acres. The built-up area of HMRITM consists of a Boys Common Room, Girls Common Room, Canteen, Coffee Day etc. Along with studies, the students are encouraged to take part in various physical activities to keep intact a sound body and mind. There is a medical centre at the campus itself to attend to the daily-basis medical emergencies. There is a library also within the campus of the institute which has more than 30,000 books and is equally accessible to both the staffs and students.

HMRITM offers a unique opportunity to pursue Ph.D. study from universities in CTIF-Vishwaniketan Network abroad. Currently we are having collaboration with Aalborg University, Denmark and Technical University Sofia, Bulgaria and there are few more universities from Europe and USA are in pipeline for the collaboration with CTIF network.

We invite proposalsfor the PhD program from the interested candidatesin the month of December every year, The selection process involves presentation by the candidates on the research proposal in front of research committee of CTIF-Vishwaniketan. The final selection is done by the research committee and the concerned university.

This program offers an excellent tuition fee waiver scheme and one need to visit the University Abroad for 3 months/year for Ph.D. program. The candidate has the flexibility to work and pursue his PhD from India in the rest of the time of year.

This is a very strong and result oriented program focusing on patent based research and good publications in journals of high standards.

inistry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has initiated the process for establishment of a “National Academy Depository (NAD)” i.e. national database of academic qualifications in an electronic format. This database would facilitate online verification of academic awards issued by boards and universities thereby eliminating attempts to use fake/ forged academic certificates.

The NAD will provide interface to various agencies (academic institutions granting admission for higher education, prospective employers, background checkers etc.) who intend to verify online whether such an academic qualification has been issued by the institution.

The pilot project was awarded to CDSL and NSDL in the month of Jan.2011. The agencies worked on the pilot in close collaboration with the CBSE and completed the pilot which has been built, owned and operated by these organizations. The depositories under NAD would perform the specified functions as mentioned below: -

Registration of various entities (academic institutions granting admission for higher education, prospective employers, background checkers etc.) in NAD,

Upload of details of academic qualifications by registered academic institutions (boards/ universities),

Verification of awards by (schools, colleges, and business firms etc. who are registered with NAD,

Mapping of academic awards (Certificate holders who get registered with NAD have the facility of mapping their academic awards available in the system to their NAD account by submitting a request to NAD agent. Once the awards are mapped, certificate holder will be able to view his awards under a single view in his login.)

Request for issuance of ‘Authentication Certificate’ (Registered certificate holder can request NAD to issue authentication certificate / mark sheet.
